Very Poor safeguardingYear 3

I removed my child as there were Safeguarding issues. The adult to child ratios were 1 adult to 31 children on local walking outings (happened each week for month, until I raised my complaint) which is below what it should have been. When I raised the issue, the Headteacher ignored it, the Chair of Governors admitted it, yet claimed it was within the LEA guidelines, then the LEA refused to discuss. The situation was swept under the carpet, and the correspondence from the LEA subsequently was to intimidate me. I raised the issue with the DfE, who kept directing me in circles and claimed it wasn't something within their remit. I even raised it with Damian Hinds, who directed me back to the DfE.... It was safer to remove my child. Ofsted were also informed, but to this date have not investigated.
