What are the school's greatest strengths?

We have had a great experience for both our children attending Latchmere from nursery to year 6.
The school facilities are second to none in the borough for primary schools.
The teachers are hard working, patient, kind and building rapports with other state and private schools in the area.
The varied demographic of families that go to Latchmere means that whatever background, religion or culture you belong to, you are included and welcomed.
We have 2 children who are completely opposite - one sporty and musical and the other academic and shy. Both children have been helped by the staff to exceed their goals and achieve great results in everything they participate in.
The leadership team are open to conversations about improvements to the school and the head teacher is always available to speak with and visits each class to spend time with the children weekly.
Latchmere also organise many educational trips for the children including sports events, theatre trips, museum visits etc, as well as external speakers to visit the school and educate the children, such as the Mayor, authors, Olympians etc.
Our children have developed happy, safe and close friendships with like minded children and always have positive reports about their days at Latchmere School. We couldn’t ask for more.

Ofsted need to re-evaluate their 'Good' rating as it really is an excellent school for all.
