My son attended this school, and I feel it’s important to provide a balanced review.
From an academic view the school is very strong. My son’s reading ability improved significantly during his time there, and I am grateful for the support and teaching he received in this area. The curriculum is well delivered, and there are dedicated members of staff who clearly care about pupils’ educational progress so I would recommend the school based on this.

However, my experience of the school’s approach to behaviour was very disappointing. While staff state that behaviour issues are addressed, this was not reflected in our experience. Concerns that were raised were not always acted upon appropriately, and there appeared to be a lack of effective intervention when ongoing behaviour issues occurred.
I also felt that pupils were not always given the opportunity to voice their concerns or feel listened to when problems arose. Encouraging children to speak up is important, but it is equally important that they feel their concerns are taken seriously and followed up with meaningful action.
Overall, the school provides a good academic education, particularly in developing reading skills, but I believe there is significant room for improvement in behaviour management, communication, and ensuring that children feel heard and supported.
